The A/C and heater are part of the vehicle's HVAC system, and it's serviced here on import and domestic cars alike. When the compressor, condenser or lines have gone, radiator repair is part of the same job, and older systems can be retrofitted to R-134a instead of chasing parts for a refrigerant that's harder to find every year.
What it usually is
Warm air at the vents, a compressor that won't engage, or a system that's simply lost its charge. A radiator that's overheating the engine gets fixed alongside it rather than treated as a second appointment.
